Following the recent UKRI FAP Audit, we would like to draw your attention to the UKRI Terms and Conditions of Grant Guidance RGC 14, section e (Audit Records). Timesheets are required for all part-funded directly incurred (DI) staff and must be signed off and dated within 2 months of the end of the timesheet period as stipulated in the Transparent Approach to Costing (TRAC) guidance, section, If timesheets are missing or incomplete, we are unable to claim the money and there will be a shortfall of funds on the grant.

Responding to the findings of the UKRI FAP Audit, new timesheet procedures will be implemented and further guidance will be provided during the coming weeks. In the meantime, the current timesheet template is available for you to use. The importance of timesheet completion was presented at the Research Grants User Group Meeting last month. Slides and the recording can be found on the ROO website
