Equipment sharing features in £250k award for Early Career Researchers
The Research Office has successfully bid to the EPSRC for the Capital Award for Early Career Researchers and would like to thank everyone who contributed to the application.
The fund for new equipment will upgrade and strengthen resources in Cambridge by contributing to the University’s world class status for equipment. A key aspect within the proposal was how further collaborative opportunities would be developed. The new equipment purchases will be made available on the Cambridge equipment database www.equipment.admin.cam.ac.uk and the national equipment portal http://equipment.data.ac.uk/, which will ensure that Early Career Researchers and other users have access to it.
We are currently finalising the details of the internal funding call which will be announced in the Michaelmas Term.
