pFACT Data Migration Survey
As you may be aware, the University will be replacing pFACT with a new costing tool called X5. When X5 goes live during Michaelmas Term 2012, some of the data within pFACT will need to be migrated into the new costing tool. To ensure that the migrated data is in line with what users require, we are asking you to complete a short survey which can be located at
http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/QKGFG2K
Could you please complete this survey by 30 November 2011?
If you have any queries, please contact the X5 Project Team by e-mail X5project@admin.cam.ac.uk or visit the X5 website http://www.x5project.net/.
pFACT Tidy Up
pFACT, the University’s costing tool has been in use for several years and as such, holds a large number of proposals. To keep the system running smoothly, it is good practice to undertake regular house-keeping within pFACT, and to this end we are requesting all users perform a system tidy up by the end of December 2011.
For clarification purposes, all projects that are at the status shown below, and are no longer required by you, should be deleted. (Please note that deleted projects cannot be recovered).
- Under Construction
- DA
- HoD
- Finance Manager
- Regius
We thank you for your assistance in this matter and should you have any queries regarding this action, please contact the pFACT Helpdesk pfact.helpdesk@admin.cam.ac.uk or phone (7)65432.
