Timesheet demonstration sessions
Over the last couple of weeks, ROO have scheduled some online demonstration and Q&A sessions about the new mechanism for timesheets so that we comply with audit requirements on UKRI funding (RCUK and Innovate). The recording of the timesheet demonstration is now available and a list of the Q&As have also been published. You can group the Q&As by topic and also use the search box to help find your query.
We will also be holding two further sessions and joining instructions will be circulated nearer the time.

Research Grants User Group Meeting – 29th September 2022
The next Research Grants User Group (RGUG) meeting will take place on Thursday 29th September at 11:15am. Further details about the meeting will follow nearer the time.
Advanced notice of UKRI Official Development Assistance research funding for financial year 2022/2023
The University has been allocated funding from the GCRF/Newton Fund block grant and other ODA block grant funding to be spent over the period 1 April 2022 to 31st March 2023. These awards are from the Department for Business, Energy and Innovation Strategy (BEIS) additional ODA allocation to UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) for the financial year 2022/2023.
The funding has been allocated to "reinvest in excellent GCRF and Newton Fund programmes to enable them to maximise development impact over the course of the financial year". Details of the terms of the award, eligibility and the internal call process will be circulated in September 2022.
