Horizon Europe Webinar – Wednesday 14th July at 10:45am

The UK Research Office (UKRO) and the University of Cambridge will be jointly presenting a webinar on Moving from Horizon 2020 to Horizon Europe. This will include

  • Update and structure of Horizon Europe compared to Horizon 2020  

  • Submission and evaluation changes, legal and finance update  

  • Q&A 

This webinar is aimed at research and grants management staff involved in Horizon 2020 projects.

The session will be held on Wednesday 14th July, 10:45am to 12:15pm. Please note the slightly later start time of 10:45am (instead of 10am). This is to allow for staff to be able to attend the Recovery Programme open meeting in the morning. The Horizon Europe webinar will be recorded and made available for those who are unable to join.

Research Grants User Group Meeting – Wednesday 21st July at 11:15am

The next Research Grants User Group (RGUG) meeting has been moved from Tuesday 13th July to Wednesday 21st July 2021 at 11:15am. It will take place as a live event and you can join the meeting using this link.  

 

Finding Funding Opportunities

Research Professional is an online database of research funding opportunities and is a source of international research policy and practice news. The University of Cambridge has an institutional account which means that all University members can access the database and tools free of charge.

The service allows you to: 

  • create customised searches to find research funding opportunities; UK and international, search by discipline and award type
  • access useful articles on developing winning research grant proposals in the Funding Know How section
  • read news, analysis, and comments on UK, EU, and international research policy and practice
  • set up email alerts for research funding opportunities and/or research news
