BBSRC Impact Acceleration Account Pump-Prime Project Funding - Open Call
The BBSRC Impact Acceleration Account (IAA) pump-prime project funding call is now open. The funding will support short (up to 3 month) projects of up to £15,000 that enable new connections with industry or strengthen existing collaborations. More details and the application forms are provided in the call document here.
There is a very short initial deadline of 10am Friday 22nd June 2018 to enable summer projects, and a second deadline of 10am Friday 22nd September 2018. Up to £50,000 in total is available in each call. We strongly recommend you delay your application to the second date if you do not already have arrangements in place for a summer project. Please note that IAA funding is only available to previous recipients of BBSRC awards. We anticipate further similar calls in 2019 and 2020.

Research Grants User Group Meeting - 28th June 2018
The next Research Grants User Group (RGUG) meeting will be held on Thursday 28th June, 10am – 11.30am in the Roger Needham Building, West Cambridge. RGUG is an open meeting for all staff involved in research grants where administration issues and developments are discussed.
