Research Dashboard now available

The Research Dashboard is a web-based application designed for PIs to see their research project activity in one place. The dashboard will give researchers an overview of their applications, grants and contracts including

  • The progress of a grant application in X5
  • A summary of the current balance on a research grant
  • Showing the status of a contract negotiation
  • Help finding who to contact

Here is a link to the Research Dashboard https://researchdashboard.admin.cam.ac.uk/ please circulate to your academic staff.

As the dashboard is a pilot we are asking for feedback, please email your views and suggestions to ux@uis.cam.ac.uk. As part of the pilot, we would also like to involve Departmental Administrators in developing role-based access and additional functionality. If you would like to take part in this discussion and provide further input to the dashboard development, please contact Kate Livingstone kl491@cam.ac.uk

More details are available from the ROO website.

Christmas and New Year Deadlines for Applications / Expenditure Statement

The Research Operations Office will close for the Christmas break from Friday 22 December 2017 and will re-open on Tuesday 2 January 2018.

In order to help us manage new work received, deadlines that fall during the Christmas break and the first week in January 2018, will need to be with ROO on the following dates.

Funder Application Deadline ROO Deadline
Thursday 21 December 2017 - Tuesday 2 January 2018 Tuesday 12 December 2017
Wednesday 3 January - Friday 5 January 2018 Thursday 14 December 2017

Final Expenditure Statements for RCUK awards over the Christmas period must be confirmed to the Research Operations Office by Tuesday 5 December 2017.  This is to allow Final Expenditure Statements to be submitted prior to the Christmas/New Year break, as the due date will not be extended by RCUK.

Please ensure that your PIs are made aware of these arrangements.
