Research Office closed - Thursday 9 December 2010

The Research Office Staff Conference is taking place on Thursday 9 December which means that the Office will be closed on this day. We will be open the following day on Friday 10 December as usual.

MRC Visit to Cambridge: e-Val and impact – Wednesday 26 January 2011

As you may be aware, the MRC have recently completed their second annual output data gathering survey e-Val. The Research Office have invited the MRC to come and talk to academics about how they use the information collected, what the main messages and trends are, how the Cambridge response compares to the other big 5 Universities and how the data gathered has impacted on the future of availability of funding.

The presentation will be held during lunch time on Wednesday 26 January 2011 at the Clinical School, more details will follow in the new year.

Patient and Public Involvement drop-in sessions

West Anglia Comprehensive Local Research Network (CLRN) organises drop-in sessions which offer information and advice on involving patients and members of the public in research projects. Sessions are held every Thursday afternoon at S4 Addenbrookes, between 3pm and 5pm with Sheila Parker, Patient and Public Involvement Co-ordinator. For further information, contact Sheila on WACLRN-PPI@addenbrookes.nhs.uk
