Cognos Report "3-2-1 Grants Listing" to be renamed "Grants Ending in a Specified Period"

During the recent Finance User Group it was agreed that because an existing report is available in COGNOS that informs departments when their research grants are ending, there is no need to develop a new one.  It was however acknowledged that the name of the report was not transparent and therefore Finance Division will be changing the name from "3-2-1 Grants Listing" to "Grants ending in a specified period" from Friday 9th January 2015. Further details are available from their bulletin.

X5 – Award Costing

The ability to create an award costing in X5 at Department Administrator and Principal Investigator level has been removed, as this costing type should only be used at Research Office level.  If you need to create an award costing for an award not previously seen by the Research Office then select the costing type of “Award not seen at App”.
