Research Operations Office

The initial release of Worktribe’s pre-award and contracts modules will no longer take place in the Research Office and School of Technology in April 2024 as planned. This is due to changes in project resources, navigating risks associated with implementation, and results from the user readiness assessment. The priority has always been a successful go live rather than just hitting the early April date.

The Transforming Research Support Programme team is working on an updated plan to introduce Worktribe in the Research Office and School of Technology, with other Schools and relevant non-school institutions to follow.

Scheduled Worktribe training, starting in April for the second cohort of schools (School of Biological Sciences, School of Physical Sciences and School of the Humanities & Social Sciences) is still going ahead because we believe that early familiarisation with the new system will be beneficial for users. If you’re booked on a session it’s going ahead and if you’re not, further training will be scheduled.

The team would like to thank everyone for their ongoing support and input into the TRS Programme, and looks forward to working with the schools in the months ahead towards a successful go live.
