The Research Office can now confirm that the pFACT upgrade will take place from Thursday 19 August to Wednesday 25 August 2010.

In preparation for the upgrade, could all users perform a system tidy up by Thursday 12 August? This means projects that are no longer required and are sitting at the status of ‘Under Construction’, ‘DA’ or ‘HoD’ need to be deleted. Please note that deleted proposals cannot be recovered.

Furthermore, we would like to invite experienced users of pFACT to be involved in testing prior to the upgrade. This will take place on Monday 26 & Tuesday 27 July at Greenwich House. If you are interested in being involved in this, please contact Hazel Rayment by Friday 16 July, with the following details: Name, CRS ID, Department(s), Email address, Phone number.

Information about the benefits of the upgrade, timetable for implementation and testing period can be found in the presentation that was delivered at the Research Grants Users Group (RGUG) on 6th July.
