The Research Office has upgraded the subscription to the Research Professional funding opportunities database. The main advantage is that you can now select an unlimited number of search criteria for building your funding search and setting up your e-mail alert. This advanced searching and alerting engine will allow you to tailor information you receive exactly to your specific interests.
To help you use Research Professional effectively, the Research Office have organised a demonstration session to take place in a webinar format (online tutorial) to help academics and research administrators to use the new features of the database to its full potential. From any computer within the University Network, you can watch and listen to a 40 minute online presentation; basic and advanced functions will be covered and there will be an opportunity to ask questions via the online chat feature. The sessions will take place on the following dates:
- Thursday 15th July at 3pm
- Friday 23rd July at 10am
- Wednesday 28th July at 12pm
- Wednesday 4th August at 2pm
