Grant applications submitted from August 2015 onwards

Applications from August 2015 onwards will have been submitted on the WT Grant Tracker system. For these applications, Grant Start Certificates (GSCs) now need to be submitted through WT Grant Tracker. This is indicated by the first character of the Wellcome grant reference number being a 2.  The process requires the lead applicant to submit the GSC to the administering organisation for Institutional approval, who then submits the GSC to Wellcome trust.

Grant Applications submitted before August 2015

Wellcome trust has yet to receive Grant Start Certificate (GSCs) for a few grants where the application was submitted before WT Grant Tracker was introduced. GSCs for these awards cannot be submitted via WT Grant Tracker, and instead should be submitted as email attachments to the following email address: grantpayments@wellcome.ac.uk. This is indicated by the first character of the Wellcome grant reference number being a 1. GSC forms for these awards are available on the website of Wellcome Trust.
