Multiple Sclerosis Society update

The MS Society has recently become a charitable company limited by guarantee. The move to charitable company status has been put in place to modernise its governance arrangements and to bring the Society in line with the majority of other large charitable organisations.

Furthermore, recipients of Society awards must not accept any donations directly from MS Society branches. If the recipient does so, the amount will be deducted from the overall Award. In the event that an MS Society branch approaches an Award Recipient in relation to making a donation, then please contact the Society's fundraising team,  http://www.mssociety.org.uk/contact/index.html
