Minutes and Presentations from RGUG now available

Research Grants User Group (RGUG) is a forum led by the Research Operations Office where research grant administration issues and developments are discussed. Minutes and presentations from the meeting on Thursday 16 Oct are now available here http://www.admin.cam.ac.uk/offices/research/rgug/default.aspx

The next RGUG meeting will take place on Thursday 11 December at 9.30am in Mill Lane Lecture Rooms - Seminar Room 4, and is open to anyone with an interest in grants administration.

 

TSB Knowledge Transfer Partnership

A new process has been put in place for applications that are to be made for the Technology Strategy Board Knowledge Transfer Partnership fund (TSB KTP). The TSB KTP scheme offers access to funding through the formation of a partnership between business and an academic institution.

If a researcher would like to apply for KTP funding, they should initially talk to their Departmental Administrator, followed by a discussion with the KTP Advisor for Cambridge. 2014 – 19th November

2015 – 11th February, 15th April, 17th June, 19th August, 30th September, 18th November

 

BBSRC Chief Executive visit to Cambridge – Monday 17th November

The BBSRC Chief Executive, Jackie Hunter, will be visiting the University on Monday 17th November at the Sainsbury Laboratory. In the morning there will be an open meeting introduced by the VC, followed by a presentation by Jackie Hunter on the BBSRC’s strategic priorities as well as talks by some of our leading academics. The meeting is aimed at researchers who are considering applying for BBSRC funding as well as current grant holders.   A poster session for our BBSRC funded students will take place during lunch.
