The European Union has imposed two rounds of sanctions on Russia since 31 July 2014. A guidance document is available on the Research Operations Office website. Principal Investigators should consider this guidance whenever planning to undertake research that will involve the export of equipment, technical knowledge or expertise to Russia. Sanctions may also affect some postgraduate teaching and the receipt of funding from sanctioned Russian individuals or companies.
