The European Commission has adopted an amendment to the 2023-24 Work Programme of Horizon Europe, where previously unallocated Horizon Europe funding will be used to increase the 2024 budget by nearly €1.4 billion to a total of €7.3 billion.
This amendment includes an investment of nearly €650 million in the EU Missions, as well as other areas including New European Bauhaus and Cultural Heritage.
