The revised International Working Policy guidance came into effect in October 2023. It was developed following a University wide consultation and provides support to employees and their Departments, to ensure that anyone who undertakes an International Working arrangement (which includes research and fieldwork) is doing so safely and in accordance with legislation. Maria Buckman, Global Mobility Advisor will be talking about the new guidance, followed by a Q&A.

This presentation will be of particular interest to staff who manage grant applications where International Working is a requirement, to assist them in understanding what additional costs might be incurred when research takes place outside the UK, which costs can be included in funding applications, as well as confirming the processes for confirming and including costs.
